Dr. Rogacz received the National Science Centre Opus Grant for the project “Philosophical Views of History and Historiography in Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century China” (2019-2023), which enables him to continue his recent research on the premodern Chinese views of history and extend it with regard to modern theories. The project covers many consultations and library queries in Asia and Europe, and it will result in a monograph on the modern Chinese philosophy of history and a series of peer-reviewed papers.
